Who We Are

Lille City Church is a vibrant, multi-cultural, Pentecostal church in the heart of Lille. We are part of The Church of Pentecost, a global body of believers which traces its origins to the ministry of Rev. James McKeown, begun in Ghana (then the Gold Coast) in 1937, and which is present in 211 nations today. We seek to bring the love of God to our communities and to build a people of prayer, worship and service.

Our Identity

The Church of Pentecost regards itself as part of the body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the Head. The Church was established to propagate the Gospel and to practice what our Lord Jesus Christ commanded – to preach the gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15-16) and to serve the least of our brethren as unto Him (Matthew 25:40).

Our Tenets

The Church of Pentecost is committed to carrying out the Lord's Commission and upholding the Ten Tenets of the Church, covering: the Bible as the infallible Word of God, the One True God revealed as Triune, man's depraved nature, Jesus Christ as Saviour, repentance and justification, the sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion, the Baptism and gifts of the Holy Spirit, divine healing, tithes and offerings, and the second coming of Christ. See our Beliefs page for full details.
